Madina Clothing is a different kind of clothing store. Born through our desire to help support the charity WYCE, we sell beautiful hand-made clothes and jewellery from Gambia which are ethically sourced, creating a sustainable income to our suppliers.

This is our very talented tailor Momodou Ceesay. He carefully creates the beautiful clothes we sell today. He doesn't have a workshop, he doesn't even have electricity, he works on a foot powered Singer sewing machine, using traditional techniques to create unique, quality clothes.

Musa makes all the beautiful jewellery we sell. He sits on the beach near the Gambia/Senegal crossing. The attention to detail which goes in to each item is amazing. He uses local products such as beads and seeds, often found on the beach where he works
